Okehampton

Okehampton is a town in Devon, England; it lies on the north side of Dartmoor on the River Okement. The boundary of the Dartmoor National Park lies directly south of the city border. Like many other places in the West Country to Okehampton developed on the basis of the medieval wool trade. Buildings from this period are the Jacob Chapel (Chapel of St James) and Okehampton Castle.
