Larkhall a Scottish town in the Council Area South Lanarkshire, 30 kilometers south-east Glasgow is located on the high right bank of the River Clyde, with 14,951 inhabitants. The westschottische industrial city has much of its traditional branches of industry - lost and has a relatively high unemployment - mining, iron processing, weaving, textile. Prospects offer but close to good transport links Glasgow to Hamilton, Motherwell, Wishaw, Lanark, Stonehouse and Strathaven. A well-known son of the city is the World Snooker Champion Graeme Dott of 2006.
