Dalton-in-Furness is a town in the English county of Cumbria, United Kingdom near the town of Barrow-in-Furness, with which it has grown more and more in recent times. The population is about 11,000. In ancient times, it was the capital of the historic Furness region. The place has connection to the Furness Line. Dalton was home to the painter George Romney and birthplace of the painter Richard T. Slone.
