Cookham is a village in the northeast of Berkshire in England. It is located on the River Thames, 4 km north of Maidenhead near the Buckinghamshire district. In the Census 2001 5,519 inhabitants were counted. Cookham was the birthplace of British painter Stanley Spencer. The village of Cookham consists of three villages: Cookham Dean, Cookham Rise and Cookham Village.
