Chepstow (Welsh: Cas-gwent) is a town on the border between Wales and England. Here the counties of Monmouthshire and Gloucestershire meet. It lies on the west bank of the Severn, near the confluence with the Wye. The city is known for the castle Chepstow Castle and the racecourse where the Welsh Grand National is held races.
