Bovey Tracey is a small town in the district of Teignbridge in the southwestern English county of Devon. The location of nearly 7,000 inhabitants town on the edge of Dartmoor moved to advertise on the outskirts with the slogan "The Gateway to the Moor" (Gateway to the Moor) residents. The local people call their city (pronounced "Buvvy") only "Bovey". Bovey Tracey is located near the market town of Moretonhampstead. At about halfway between the two, the small village of North Bovey is. Bovey Tracey is twinned with Le Molay-Placide in Normandy (France).
