Aberdour is a historic village and municipality (civil parish) in the UK on the south coast of Fife in the east of the Central Lowlands, Scotland with about 1600 inhabitants. The place is between the small towns of Dalgety Bay, Burntisland on the north shore of the Firth of Forth, overlooking the south offshore, community belonging Island Inchcolm and the local medieval Augustinian Abbey Inchcolm Abbey. On the southeast opposite shore is about 30 road kilometers from the Scottish capital Edinburgh.
