Ko Lan

Ko Lan (also: Koh Larn or Ko Laan, Thai: เกาะ ล้าน) is an island in the eastern part of the central region of Thailand. Ko Lan belongs to Chonburi Province, Amphoe Bang Lamung and is located in the eastern Gulf of Thailand about 9 kilometers from Pattaya. The island has two small settlements: Ban Ko Lan and Ban Krok Makhan. There is a ferry service with Pattaya, the crossing takes about 45 minutes. In addition to the beautiful beaches, the two smaller islands Ko Sak (เกาะ สาก) and Ko Krok (เกาะ ครก) are appealing. West of Ko Lan lies the uninhabited island group of Ko Phai, which has a mountainous character.
