Lycksele (South Sami: Liksjoe, umesamisch: Likssjuo) is a town in the Swedish province of Västerbotten County and the historic province of Lapland. Lycksele is located 130 km north-west of Umeå on the European route E12 and is the capital of the homonymous municipality. Lycksele has a station on the railway line Hällnäs-Storuman.
