Huskvarna is a district in the eastern Swedish town (tätort) Jönköping and classified as national interest because of estimable industrial architecture from the 17th century. Huskvarna was from 1911 to 1970 a separate town that gradually grew together with Jönköping. Since the local government reform in 1971 Huskvarna is politically a part of Jonkoping. Huskvarna has a population of about 21,500. The place is described in the eighteenth chapter in Selma Lagerlof's novel The Wonderful Adventures of Nils.
