Arboga (German deprecated: Årbogen) is a town in the Swedish province of Västmanland County and the historic province of Västmanland. She is chief town of Arboga, and 2010 had about 10,300 inhabitants. The name of the place is the first time in 1286 is as Arbugæ and includes an old Swedish name for river bend where there lies the city. Since the Middle Ages an unusually strong beer was brewed in Arboga. The brewery is still to be found today as a museum in the city center. The beer Arbogaöl distributed by a major beer producers today.
