Trbovlje (German Trifail) is a city in central Slovenia with 18,406 inhabitants (2002). Near Trbovlje is fired, combined cycle coal power plant whose chimney with 360 meters is the highest in Europe. There are built in the Middle Ages two churches in the city center, as well as historic mining settlements that were built over 100 years ago by Germans or Austrians. In the picturesque city center there is a weekly market.
