Siemianowice Śląskie [ɕɛmʲanɔvʲit ͡sɛ ɕlɔskʲɛ] (1923-1927: Huta Laura-Siemianowice) is an industrial city in southern Poland in the Silesian Voivodeship. The county-level city is located about six kilometers north of Katowice in the Upper Silesian industrial area. The city was founded in 1923 by the merger of the previously independent municipalities Siemianowice (German: Siemianowitz) and Huta Laura (Laurahütte) and received in 1932 the city law.
