Frombork [frɔmbɔrk] (German Frombork) is a city in Poland's Warmia and Mazury with about 2500 inhabitants. The same small town building has nearly 4,000 inhabitants. The first mention of the place dates from the 13th century. The city is known with the connected buildings on the hill as well as the work of Nicolaus Copernicus far beyond Poland due to the architecturally interesting cathedral.
