Napier

Napier, officially called Napier City, is a port city and an independent Territorial Authority (authority) in the North Island of New Zealand. In it there is the Hawke's Bay Regional Council and the administration for the Hawke's Bay region. The City Council Napier, who also likes to be called City of Napier, is called Napier City Council. Together with some ten kilometers south town of Hastings, both cities make up the fifth largest metropolitan area in New Zealand, which is often referred to in English as "the Twin Cities".
