Foxton is a 2643 inhabitants town in the Manawatu-Wanganui in New Zealand. It is situated in the southwest of the North Island of New Zealand in Horowhenua District, 30 km southwest of Palmerston North and 15 km north of Levin. It is located about 6 km from the coast and 5 km north of the Manawatu River. The small coastal settlement Foxton Beach is located about 6 km to the west of the river mouth.
