Moldova

Moldova (officially in Romanian Republica Moldova) is a landlocked country in Southeast Europe. It is bordered on the west by Romania. In the north, east and south Moldova is completely enclosed by the Ukraine, so that no direct access to the places only two kilometers away is the Black Sea. The country is colloquially called Moldova. The official name of the Republic is in Germany and Austria Moldova, in Switzerland, she is referred to as the Republic of Moldova. Historically, the territory belonged to this state and after the annexation of the area by Tsar Alexander I in 1812 to the Russian Empire since the establishment of the Principality of Moldova. As an independent state, the Republic of Moldova has only existed since 1991, when the Moldavian Soviet republic declared itself during the dissolution of the Soviet Union independent.
