Vicenza

Vicenza is an art and industrial city in northern Italy with 112,953 inhabitants (December 31, 2015). It lies about 60 km north-west of Venice and 200 km east of Milan in the Veneto region and capital of the province. the city is known for its Schmuckwaren- and clothing industry and for the buildings of the Renaissance architect Andrea Palladio, who enlisted her the rank of UNESCO World Heritage. Vicenza is one of the richest cities in Italy. The German sister city is Pforzheim.
