Udine (Friulian Udin, Slovene Videm, German (outdated) Weiden) is a town in the Friuli-Venezia Giulia in northeastern Italy and capital of the province of Udine. With 99,528 inhabitants (December 31, 2013) is Udine to Trieste, the second largest city in the region and is one of the most important city of the historic landscape Friuli. A population of more than 100,000 confirmed the registry office in early 2013 for the first time in 25 years.
