Torre Annunziata (dt .: Announced Tower) is a municipality with a population of 43,254 (December 31, 2013) in the metropolitan city of Naples in the Campania region. Since 1997, the archaeological site located there the Villa Poppaea UNESCO World Heritage matters. Torre Annunziata borders the municipalities Boscoreale, Boscotrecase, Castellammare di Stabia, Pompei, Torre del Greco and Trecase.
