Saint-Oyen is an Italian commune in the autonomous region of Aosta Valley. The municipality has 203 inhabitants (as of 31 December 2015), located on the orographic left side of the Dora Baltea at a mean altitude of 1373 m s.l.m. It has a size of 9 km². The neighboring municipalities are called Bourg-Saint-Pierre (Switzerland), Étroubles, Gignod and Saint-Rhémy-en-Bosses. Saint-Oyen is located on the road to the Great Saint Bernard. Parts of the old Roman road Via Francigena can still be seen in the vicinity. From 1939 to 1946, the village bore the Italianized name Sant 'Eugendo.
