Motta Santa Lucia is a municipality of 845 inhabitants (as of 31 December 2015) in the Italian province of Catanzaro, Calabria region. The area of ​​the municipality is located at an altitude of 590 m above sea level and covers an area of ​​25 km ². The neighboring communities are Altilia (CS), Conflenti, Decollatura, Martirano, Pedivigliano (CS). The hamlets are Casale, Marignano and Porchia. Motta Santa Lucia is 58 km northwest of Catanzaro.
