Manerba del Garda is a town with 5287 inhabitants (December 31, 2015) in the province of Brescia, in Lombardy. Manerba del Garda is located on the southwestern shore of Lake Garda. The neighboring municipalities are: Moniga del Garda, Polpenazze del Garda, Puegnago sul Garda, San Felice, Soiano del Lago. Manerba del Garda was from the early Middle Ages the site of a castle (Manerba) directly above the lake, are obtained from the residues. Since the 14th century Manerba del Garda belonged to the Venetian Republic. Tourism is a main source of income of the village. Its attractions include the remains of the castle, which belongs to an archaeological natural park of 9 hectares, which includes part of the lake shore and the parish churches of the various districts.
