Cogliate is a commune of northern Italy (comune) with 8527 inhabitants (as of 31 December 2015) in the province of Monza and Brianza in Lombardy. The municipality is located about 16 kilometers northwest of Monza and about 20 kilometers northwest of Milan at the Parco delle Groane. Cogliate borders directly with the provinces of Como and Varese. Through the municipality flows the Guisa, which merges with the Nirone to Merlata and then flows into the Olona.
