The municipality brenzone on the eastern shore of Lake Garda consists of numerous at the foot of Monte Baldo (Lake Garda, northern Italy) situated or scattered among olive groves and gardens villages. Some of these are: Assenza, Castelletto, Castello, Marniga, Magugnano (capital of the municipality), Borago and postage. Brenzone 2,474 inhabitants live (December 31, 2015). The neighboring municipalities are Ferrara di Monte Baldo, Gargnano (BS), Malcesine, San Zeno di Montagna, Tignale (BS), Torri del Benaco and tremosine (BS). In the 12th century a monastery, which now belongs to the order of the Little Sisters of the Holy Family was created in Castelletto. That the Roman "brunzonium" still bears some traces of the past, you can see at a different church from the 14th century, which is found in Assenza. Today Brenzone community is relatively young. It was gradually merged from the formerly independent places Castello, Mamiga, Castelletto and Prada in the 20th century. The remaining places Castello and Castelletto joined forces in 1955 and renamed in 1958 in Brenzone order, from which two years later was finally Brenzone. 2014, the community was renamed brenzone.
