The city Kevelaer [keːvəlaːɐ̯] (strain e) is at the lower left of the Rhine in the northwest of the state of North Rhine-Westphalia. She is a middle district town of Kleve in the district of Dusseldorf. Kevelaer is a member of Euregio Rhine-Waal. The city is best known as one of the most important places of pilgrimage in Germany.
