Hagenow is a city in the west of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, some 30 kilometers southwest of the state capital Schwerin area. Hagenow is one of the 18 central centers of the country, as well as seat of the Office Hagenow-Land, it does not even office belonging. The historic center is an example of a Mecklenburg Ackerbürger-old town with half-timbered houses and other architectural monuments from the 17th to 19th centuries. Its proximity to the highway 24 and to Hamburg and the integration into the metropolitan area, Hagenow is an advantageous positioned site for residents and businesses since the German reunification.
