Friedberg (Hessen) is a city on the northern edge of the Rhine-Main region and the administrative seat of Wetteraukreises. The former free imperial city and trade fair city belonged in the Middle Ages the major cities in what is now Hesse. The rich history can be seen in the well-preserved townscape until today. Popular attractions include the former imperial castle, the Gothic town church and the medieval mikveh (Jewish bath).
