Ehingen

Ehingen (Donau) is a city in southeastern Baden-Württemberg, approximately 23 kilometers southwest of Ulm and 67 kilometers south-east of Stuttgart. It is the largest town in the Alb-Donau district, and center for the surrounding communities. Since January 1, 1974 Ehingen is large district (the only one in the Alb-Donau-Kreis). With neighboring communities Griesingen, Oberdischingen and Öpfingen the city has entered into an Agreed administrative matters. The part of the Ehinger district on the Alb plateau (33.8\%) belongs to the biosphere region Swabian Alb. From 1346 to 1805 belonged to the city and surrounding Further Austria, of which the house stands today bears witness at the market.
