Doberlug-Kirchhain (Lower Sorbian: Dobrjoług-Gostkow) is a twin city in the south of Brandenburg in the Elbe-Elster. It was created in 1950 by merging the neighboring towns Doberlug (until 1937 Dobrilugk) and Kirchhain. The Cistercian monastery Dobrilugk and White Tannery brought wealth and importance. The first Brandenburg state exhibition took place from 7 June to 2 November 2014 held in the Twin Cities.
