The Hanseatic town of Demmin is a small town in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania in northeastern Germany. The city is one of the 18 central centers of the country. Since 2011, belonging to the district Mecklenburg Lake District, Demmin emphasized its historical belonging and connectedness to Vorpommern.
