Bad Aibling

Bad Aibling

Bad Aibling (bairisch Oabling) is a town in Upper Bavarian district of Rosenheim with mud spas. The lying in Mangfalltal city is Bavaria's oldest moor spa and since the opening of Therme Bad Aibling on 17 September 2007, Bavaria's youngest thermal resort. For its water from a depth of nearly 2,300 meters, the city has received state recognition as a healing source by the Bavarian State Ministry for the Environment, Health and Consumer Protection. The Desiderius source, named after the founder of the mud spa, Desiderius Beck, who as a royal Bavarian court doctor opened the first Bavarian brine and moor mud baths in Bad Aibling in 1845, is to use the healing water in rheumatology, orthopedics and neurology.
