Dominica is an island nation in the Lesser Antilles in the eastern Caribbean. The state covers the eponymous island and is a member of the Commonwealth of Nations. In the language of Caribbean indigenous population Dominica was based on the mountainous island profile Ouaitocoubouli or recently transcription Wai'tukubuli ( "Your body is high") called. In addition to the official language is English Antillean Creole, known locally Patwa (Patois), used as slang.
