Posedarje is a municipality in the County of Zadar in Croatia. The village lies at the western end of the Novigrad Sea, about 25 kilometers northeast of the city of Zadar. The municipality has 3,607 inhabitants (2011 census), of which an absolute majority Croats sind.Posedarje is known in Croatia and also the Croatian limit for its prosciutto (ham), which is smoked with native shrubs and woods and thus a distinctive flavor having. The place was first mentioned in the 12th century.
