Jiuquan (Ch. 酒泉 市 Pinyin Jiǔquán Shì) is a prefecture-level city in China. Jiuquan was established on 18 June 2002 on the surface of the resolution on the same day administrative district of Jiuquan. Simultaneously, the independent city of Jiuquan was dissolved. In its place, the municipality Suzhou occurred.
