Anras is a municipality with 1243 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2016) in the district of Lienz in Tyrol (Austria). The municipality is located in the judicial district Lienz. The municipality is located in the East Tyrolean part of the Puster Valley, which is traversed by the Drava. The municipality extends over both sides of the valley, but the settlement extends mainly north of the Drava. The main town with some hamlets is located on the Pustertal high road, there are still settlements on the valley floor. The district Mittewald an der Drau has a stop of the Drautalbahn.
