The District Council of Renmark Paringa is a Local Government Area (LGA) in the Australian state of South Australia. The area is 916 square kilometers and has about 9,200 inhabitants. Renmark Paringa is located on the eastern border of South Australia state of Victoria to the Murray River and is 220 km east from the city of Adelaide. The area includes 14 districts and towns: Calperum, Chaffey, Cooltong, Gurra Gurra, Lock No. 5, Lock No. 6, Lyrup, Murtho, Paringa, Pike River, Renmark, Renmark South, Renmark West and Wonuarra. The administrative headquarters of the Council is in Renmark in the center of the LGA.
