Fraser Iceland (rarely Fraser Island, formerly known as Great Sandy Iceland) is a company in the Australian state of Queensland island. With an area of 1,840 square kilometers it is the largest sand island in the world. It is located about 190 kilometers north of Brisbane off the east coast of Australia. In the language of Aborigines is K'gari, which means as much as "paradise". The island is since 1992 a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
