After the terrorist attacks on 11 September 2001 in the United States, the Taliban regime, which had granted members of terrorist organizations refuge was overthrown on terror in the decisive run by the United States War. Since then, this war determines what happens. The country is an Islamic republic since of 2004. From 2004 to 2014 was president Hamid Karzai of Afghanistan.
